Tselepos Santorini
Tselepos Santorini is een pure assyrtiko van oude wijnstokken (50-100 jaar) op het vulkanische eiland Santorini. De wijn wordt gekenmerkt door zijn levendige frisheid en uitgesproken mineraliteit, met tonen van vuursteen en jodium. Deze witte wijn biedt rijke aroma's en een goed gestructureerd mondgevoel. De druiven worden voorzichtig geperst en de wijn rijpt drie maanden op zijn droesem, wat zorgt voor extra diepte en een lange afdronk. Perfect bij carpaccio, pasta met garnalen en zeevruchten.

About the winemakers
‘Good wines are produced in a winery, but great wines are being produced in a vineyard.’, the motto of Yiannis Tselepos. In 1989 Yiannis and Amalia had the ambition to create something new in Greek wines. With only their vision and their love for wine, they have started Tselepos Estate. And success came, because the winehouse nowadays has a 650 hectares long yard and has three different locations. The first vineyard is located on the historic mountain Parnonas at 750 meter altitude, the second one is located on the beautiful Santorini and the third location is in the region of Koutsi, Nemea. 50 year old vines and a altitude of 380 meters produce a tasteful and intense wine there.
